Whether WikiLeaks is a good service in political terms or deemed as an act terrorism towards to country depends on the confidentiality of the documents that were brought up to the public.

Some are calling the site a truth-seeking hero while others call it a threat to national security. I feel that as long as there's no potential to jeopardize any current operations taking place and they are to do with previous, out-dated events, then why not make them public anyway, without them even having to be "leaked"? This is because everyone has the right to know everything which also includes anything hidden by the government.Citizens should be aware of everything that their government is conducting. The government has no right to hide truth or official information from the people. They are there to serve the people, not just ruling it. Unfortunately that has not been the case for the past 200 years. I agree with what Wikileaks is doing. It's shedding some light on recent events that the government failed to properly report on. It also give people around the world an unprecedented insight into the US Government's foreign activities.


However, if WikiLeaks is perceived as threat to the government, it has already overstepping its boundaries. Who knows when they might release documents that directly threaten the national security of its countries or the basic security of individuals. Some documents are top secret for a reason. Someone might end up getting harmed or killed by this kind of behavior.
